Day 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13


Stasha left the room this morning at 6:00am. Unfortunately, she won't be joining Max and me for our next destination.... but she'll get to spend more time in Melbourne. See ya later Stasha!

As for Max and me, back to bed.

No, not really... Max and I got out of bed soon after.

We went out for brekky at Serigo's.
Muesli and Affagato again for me.
And a mango-orange juice to quench my thirst.

After breakfast, we went browsing and found something to repackage Max's gifts and belongings. Also loaded up on film for Max's camera. Me... I think I had 200+MB left on my memory stick... Plenty.

Then back to the hotel to finish packing.... with plenty of time to spare.

One final check for our belongings, and we shut the door behind us.

We dropped left our bags with the bellman... with time to spare. So we went out and headed out and took our final stroll through Downtown Sydney.


Across the street from The Grace and around the block was Mid City Centre - all the days we've been here, we never bothered to shop at the malls. So today we take a quick peek.

Nothing strange... jewelry, clothing (bought a T)... music, etc...

I listened to some sample songs... tested one of the top hip-hop albums advertised. The music got me swaying back and forth so I decided I had to bring home some of Aussie accents --- I bought The Herd's The Sun Never Sets. Was low on cash, so I used my credit. They take VISA ya know. :)

Check my watch -- time to leave!

 

Back at the hotel, our cabbie was waiting for us.

So we say goodbye to bellman Johnny (tell me, does he look 50 to you?) and concierge Edison...

... and take one last look at the hotel lobby....

...and off we go to the airport.

One thing we didn't realize - flying to Tasmania is considered a domestic flight. So all those gifts we bought in Sydney caused us to max out. No worries, mate. We took care of the issue. And soon enough, we prepared for take off.

Listened to some decent music as we prepared for takeoff. :)

Touch down.

Wow. This is the smallest airport I've ever flown into.

So small that the baggage claim area was one single room, where people lined up along one side and wait until a cart drives up towing everyone's luggage on this train. When the cart stops, everyone runs out to find their baggage.

Wow.

 

And here's when my Tasmanian adventure starts. I'm not going to talk much after this point as I'm eager to post my pictures up. But please do, when you get a chance, remind me to complete the narration of my trip. :)
